Top Tips for Holiday Health

If you're going away this Summer, check out our top tips to help make your trip as safe as possbile and relaxing as possible.  Be prepared, and make the most of what time you have...

 

  1. Buy smaller size essentials for you handbag - under 100ml
  2. If going by plane don't forget to take a clear plastic bag to put your liquid products in if they're not packed away in your hold luggage.  Some airports charge for them!
  3. Think through all those holiday ailments and if travelling with others agree on a list between you...it saves loads on cost and packing space!
  4. Don't underestimate the sun so buy the right factor, especially for the kids.  It's always best to be prepared and take a high factor. 
  5. Superdrug and Boots have great ranges of mini sized products for all the family.
  6. Mum don't forget to get a first aid kit - it will come in useful throughout the year.
  7. Take advantage of the newest innovations such as spray on plasters and anti-ageing sun care!
  8. Don't forget the daily essentials you use at home from dental floss, eye drops, to hay fever and headache tablets.
  9. Buy plastic bottles and labels to decant your toiletries ...the budget airlines have severe weight restrictions plus you don't run the risk of leaking bottles.
  10. Remember to take your own earphones so you can hear the music on the plane and not get charged! Noise cancelling and noice isolating products will cut our the background noise and are worth the cost on long haul trips.  If you can't stretch to fancy headphones, basic ear plugs could be your saviour.
