Live Music at the Hazlitt Theatre this September

September is a busy month at the Hazlitt Theatre, with live music acts spanning from the 1950’s swinging music scene with Buddy Holly and the Cricketers, to the 80’s synth-pop of Time of Our Lives, and finally a tribute to modern pop icon Harry Styles. Don’t miss these live music tributes this September! 

Relive the soundtrack of a generation as The Time of Our Lives takes you back to the best 1980’s music and movie soundtracks on 4 September! Reminisce on the good old days with music from Soft Cell, Duran Duran, Top Gun, Dirty Dancing and more. Now with £22.50 tickets for the first 50 seats only! For more 80’s music, join Kiesha and her fantastic ‘Million Dollar Band’ on 7 September for the incredible tribute to the late, great Whitney Houston - I’m Every Whitney! The No. 1 show has toured up and down the country, bringing Whitney’s greatest hits from ‘I Wanna Dance with Somebody’ to ‘I Will Always Love You’. 

We jump back to the 70’s with “the world’s finest vocal tribute to Neil Diamond” on 18th September as Bob Drury and his band bring iconic sounds of the 70’s to the Hazlitt Theatre. The Neil Diamond Story tracks Neil’s journey from unknown and struggling New York songwriter to international mega-star, including all the favourites: Cracklin’ Rosie, Beautiful Noise, Red Red Wine and many more! The Bohemians quickly follow with Queen’s Greatest Hits on 21 September. Billed as “the world’s most exciting Queen tribute”, The Bohemians feature all the hits, costumes and showmanship of one of the world’s most iconic bands. Don’t miss Killer Queen, Don’t Stop Me Now and many more - all performed live at the Hazlitt Theatre! 

The sounds of the 1950’s survive in September too with The Drifters returning to the Hazlitt Theatre on 20th September, and Buddy Holly and the Cricketers on 28th. Don’t miss The Drifters perform all their classic hits including Saturday Nights at the Movies, You’re More Than a Number and many more! Listed among the greatest artists of all time by the Rolling Stone and having performed at the Royal Albert Hall, The Drifters return to the UK in this unmissable tour. Buddy Holly and the Cricketers follow with their West End cast performing hits like Peggy Sue, It Doesn’t Matter Anymore and many more. 

And if that’s not enough, step back in time to the golden era of jukebox music with Lipstick on Your Collar on 28 September! Performed by a live band, the show features the soundtrack of the 50’s and 60’s with excellent vocals, tight harmonies and an infectious sense of fun! 

For modern music fans, September also hosts the Harry Styles Tribute on 6 September and Robbie & Gary on 22 September. Be prepared to experience Harry Styles closer than ever before and join in the fun with this one of a kind tribute show with all the style, cheekiness and charm of the global phenomena himself! And for Take That fans, two of the finest international tribute artists come together for a truly unforgettable tribute to Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams. Join Jon Fisher and Dan Budd on 22 September for a spellbinding evening of Take That and solo classics!
