The Hazlitt Theatre announces their resident disabled-led theatre company, Square Pegs’ first ever Main House devised show - in.difference!
This is a relaxed performance, with a casual readmittance policy if audience members need to step out of our auditorium, specially adapted lighting and sound, and a sensory room open to all.
Square Pegs Arts are an award-winning arts charity who offer high quality, inspiring, innovative theatre, music & arts projects for learning disabled and autistic people in Kent & Medway. The Square Pegs Theatre Company specialises in offering performing arts training to learning disabled and autistic people, producing bold, original theatre. They celebrate difference, value diversity and focus on the skills and talent of each individual to support everybody to excel in their own unique way.
in.difference is the company’s first Main House production featuring their talented cast of performers. In this brand new show for families and children aged 7+, watch the story unfold with puppetry, digital technology and movement…
In the new video game in.difference, five players make dream worlds tailored to their disabilities and differences. But their worlds aren't so perfect after all. A Virus has snuck into the game, and it’s brought real-world problems with it! Can our players challenge the problems and defeat the virus? Find out on 30 September!
