We’re supporting the KM’s "Tonnes of Tins"

No doubt you've been hearing in the news on kmfm, reading on KentOnline or watching on tv…..more people than ever are relying on food banks to get by.

Food poverty is sadly impacting many in Kent, so we have teamed up with UK Harvest to collect as many tonnes of tins as possible by mid-August. (Fri 11th Aug)

Approximately 2400 420g tins of beans or a similar food would equate to 1 tonne and we are going to see how many tonnes we can collect and distribute in the 6 week time frame we have!

1 - Buy tins of food via a supermarket or online store

2 - Deliver them to The Mall Maidstone's Ask Me Point, (in between New Look and Matalan) between (09.30- 12.30 and 13.30 – 16.30) Monday and Saturday. We can only accept your order during these delivery times to ensure that the team can store the tins properly.

3 -  We will then be handed over to the UK Harvest team to distribute it.

Together we could make a huge difference to people in Kent. So get involved from your home, get the team involved in your workplace or get your family and friends involved. If you are in the position to help - we would love your support. Please only donate what you can - the smallest amount will add plenty of tins to our efforts.
